Mark S. Davids, DPM


Dr. Davids graduated from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania following completion of his undergraduate education at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. His experiences in medicine also include years spent as a research assistant in blood coagulation and hemophilia at the Thrombosis Research Center of Temple University in Philadelphia.


Dr. Davids is an experienced podiatrist having practiced in Central Florida for 24 years with continuing post-graduate training at numerous medical and surgical conferences and seminars.

He is married to Debbie and has 2 sons, Aaron (Go Noles!) and Benjamin (Go Gators!).



John T. LiVecchi, MD, FACS, FSEE


John T. LiVecchi, MD, FACS, FSEE is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon, specializing in Eyelid and Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Refractive Surgery and Presbyopia Surgery. There has been an increased understanding of the importance of the relationship of healthy eyelids to both appearance and proper vision. The more common conditions affecting the areas around the eye are upper and lower eyelid surgery which includes blephroplasty, ectropions, entopions, ptosis, browlifts, cysts and tumors, tear duct problems and reconstructive surgery. In addition, non surgical liquid facelifts using lasers, Botox®, Restylane®, Juvaderm®, Radiesse® and other fillers are other methods to improve the cosmetic appearance of the face and areas around the eye, procedures that can also lead to improved vision.


Dr. LiVecchi received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the City University of New York at Richmond and earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Rome. He served his internship at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and completed a residency in ophthalmology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center and was chief resident there as well. After completing his residency Dr. LiVecchi was a Fellow in Oculoplastic Surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. LiVecchi is Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida. He regularly makes scientific presentations, exhibits his work at academic meetings, and has published numerous articles. He is a contributing author to several texts on ophthalmology. He is the chief editor of Oculoplatic Pearls for the Ophthalmology Times and is on their editorial advisory board as well. He is also on the editorial board of the Annals of Ophthalmology.


Dr. LiVecchi has been involved with R&D for the correction of Presbyopia for 15 years. Presbyopia is an unavoidable condition that afflicts all people when they reach their forties and will require reading glasses to view things up close. Dr. LiVecchi is one of the eye doctors in the USA that performs this new FDA approved surgery to make those patients free from the burden of reading glasses along with distance and intermediate distances as well.


Dr.LiVecchi is one of the most experienced oculoplastic surgeons in the USA and has performed over 25,000 procedues thus far in his career. He has been selected as one of America's top ophthalmologists/oculoplastics ten years in a row by Consumers' Research Council of America.


Dr. LiVecchi travels worldwide as a Course Director teaching state-of-the-art surgery to other eye doctors, refractive surgeons and plastic surgeons. He currently is the Medical Director of three medical companies in the USA and sits on several boards as an officer and a director. Dr. LiVecchi was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. He practiced Ophthalmology in Pennsylvania for 20 years and was in the US Army Reserve. Dr. LiVecchi’s hobbies include tennis, wine making, travel, theater, fine dining and sporting events. Dr. LiVecchi's passions other than family, are science, medicine and patient care.





Miguel J. Morales, MD

Dr. Morales is both an Adult Psychiatrist and also a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, with extensive clinical experience.  He has experience working in many different settings including private practice and community mental health.  Though he works primarily providing outpatient care, he has provided care in other settings including a residential treatment programs within the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and in a community based 50+ bed psychiatric hospital.  He believes in a need for both therapy and medication management.  He treats a vast range of conditions including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, adjustment disorders, and attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.  These categories include diagnoses such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Social Phobia, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder and many others.  Dr. Morales ensures that all treatment is individually tailored.  He is also bilingual being fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Morales is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with certification in both Psychiatry and also Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  He obtained his Medical Doctorate from the University of South Florida.  Subsequently, he completed his Internship, General Psychiatry Residency, as well as his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Florida.  He has diversified training in both therapy and medication management, and has published on both medication management and cognitive-behavioral therapy.  Dr. Morales joined the Resilience Team in 2009.
